John Frobisher

Born in Glasgow in 1958, John Frobisher was educated at Gordonstoun and read PPE at Oxford.
APPOINTMENTS
John Frobisher joined the Civil Service in 1980 and has served in many departments within the Home Office, including Director General for Schools, and under-secretary at the Crime Reduction and Community Secretary Group. As Permanent Secretary, John Frobisher chairs the Home Office Board and sits on the Civil Service Steering Board, whick seeks to set the overall direction of the Civil Service. He has a particular interest in leadership, development and is also a member of the Senior Leadership Committee. He is married with two children.
