The British Space Defence Establishment, also known as the Space Defence Station, was an installation located near the English village of Devesham. It maintained a launch and landing facility for rockets. The Space Defence Station was administered by a staff of civilian scientists led by a military commanding officer, with UNIT personnel serving in numerous positions at the installation.
